The woman (or man, lets not be sexist here) who will be wearing the ring. How will she/he feel if it's a cheap diamond ring, one that didn't really cost a lot. Do you feel good looking for cheap diamond rings, or do you feel that it should be an expensive diamond ring?

You see the cost of the ring is part of the deal. A woman feels special, for example, when her man has spent lots of his money buying her an expensive diamond engagement ring.
